About the role

As a GL, your tasks may vary depending on the industry or client site you’re assigned to, but typically, no specialist skills or training are required. Every day and every job are different – so your ability to listen, learn, and take direction are key.

What you’ll be doing

• Processing incoming and outgoing goods.
• Picking, packing, and sorting orders.
• Lifting, moving, and carrying heavy or bulk items.
• Unloading delivery trucks and unpacking stock.
• Checking incoming goods against invoices and inspecting for damage.
• Using basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) to move or rotate stock.
• Organising and storing items correctly.
• Keeping your workspace clean and following safety guidelines.

• Physically fit and healthy and comfortable with manual work.
• Someone who is reliable and rocks up to work on time.
• Able to work independently or as part of a crew.
• Reliability – able to work at short notice when required.
• Able to get there – reliable transport to get to and from work.
