About the role
Our Picker Packers typically work in our client’s logistics, wholesale or manufacturing warehouses and distribution centres filling orders and assisting with inventory management.
What you’ll be doing
- Pick and pack orders to meet customer requirements.
- Sorting products according to client specifications.
- Follow specific packing requirements for each brand.
- Operate scanning equipment and following established warehouse processes.
- Move loads around the warehouse or a designated area.
- Lifting, moving, and carrying bulk items.
- Organising and storing items correctly.
- Keeping your workspace clean and following safety guidelines.
What we’re looking for
- A great attitude, you simply have to have it.
- These roles always require strong attention to detail and high-standards.
- Speed and accuracy are the two work characteristics most requested by clients.
- Some jobs are repetitive by nature, so being self-motivated and physically capable are a must.
- Previous experience in warehousing or labouring preferred, but not essential.
- Previous RF scanning experience.
- Ability to work within time constraints and achieve client KPI’s.
- Reliability – able to work at short notice when required.
- Able to get there – reliable transport to get to and from work.
